FIND YOUR FLOW

Foundation Training is a mindful movement practice designed to restore the body's natural order. This practice strengthens the posterior chain, improves posture and balance, decompresses the spine, increases breathing capacity, and ultimately allows the body to move more efficiently. Many people have used Foundation Training to reduce and often eliminate back pain! All Levels- Beginners welcome.

 

Gentle Yoga will incorporate breath, meditation, foundation training and restorative postures. Moving at a slow and gentle pace, this practice will offer the opportunity to increase strength, balance, and flexibility. All Levels- Beginners welcome.

Vinyasa Yoga is a moving meditation- creative and challenging sequences that flow with the breath- appropriate for all yogis familiar with sun salutations.

 

All classes will take place at the Harmony Whole Health studio.

"My love of yoga was definitely not immediate. The quiet and stillness made me uncomfortable and I was overwhelmed by the how the practice made me glaringly aware of weaknesses in my body and mind. But I like a challenge, so I kept showing up. Now 20 years later, still challenging me in many ways, yoga has ultimately become an incredible source of healing and heart-opening. For a long time teaching seemed unlikely, as I was always the shy student hiding in the far corner of the room. But eventually, I decided that the best way to embody the gratitude I felt for the practice and my many amazing teachers, was to share it with others. I hope it helps! I hope you walk off your mat with a calm awareness and the ability to breathe deeper and move through your daily life with a little more ease…
